At The Ashana, every room, suite, and shared space is being carefully designed to offer both comfort and connection—to the building’s rich history, to the materials used, and to the guest’s experience of rest.
Inspired by the historic architectural influences of Faro, our design centers around an internal courtyard garden. This layout creates a natural sense of calm and privacy. All rooms face inward toward this peaceful space, allowing for quiet mornings and gentle natural light, away from the noise of the city.
The interiors are defined by a combination of handcrafted elements and modern simplicity. You’ll find natural stone, wood, and lime plaster alongside carefully selected antique pieces and clean, modern lines. These materials are not just aesthetic choices—they are chosen for their longevity, sustainability, and timeless quality.
Each of our 29 rooms and suites is slightly different in layout and décor, but all share a consistent feeling: quiet, refined, and deeply comfortable. Soft textiles, calming color palettes, high-end bedding, and locally made furnishings come together to create an environment that feels both luxurious and personal.
Our shared spaces—including the rooftop pool and bar, a covered garden lounge, fitness area, and library—follow the same design principles. They are welcoming, uncluttered, and built to encourage both stillness and connection. The retractable roof in the garden allows this space to be used year-round, making it a central feature of the guest experience.
